Meet Your Writer

About Clemency Marlowe

I have a background in book publishing – both editorial and production – meaning that I am a fully trained editor with the first-class attention to style and detail that you would expect, together with knowledge of design and printing.

I have also worked in corporate communications and copywriting for a multinational blue chip professional services firm in various media and on a variety of projects. I love history and enjoy historical research. I also have an MA in Creative Writing, have worked as a book coach and have written my own books and plays:

I have extensive experience of and training in dementia from both personal and professional experience. I am also a qualified mentor and a highly experienced, sensitive interviewer.

I don’t believe in teams when it comes to working on a single writing project. A bespoke product as personal as a memoir needs one person in charge: A-Z. The buck stops with me. When you make contact, you know exactly who will be dealing with your query or request. As well as being light on my feet and open to change(s) be they minor or larger scale, you will always find me friendly, approachable, respectful and non-judgemental.

“Clem has written my life story in a very professional way, dealing with the more difficult periods of my life with understanding and empathy. I must congratulate her and thank her for a fantastic book that leaves a legacy of my life to my family and future generations. It has been a very enjoyable process and that is 100% due to Clem. Thank you.”

“The 8-page report on my novel – The Restless Statue – from Clemency Marlowe was pure gold. My report was comprehensive and easy to follow, highlighting the positives and pointing out the areas needing attention. I feel more positive about my novel and am inspired to tackle the issues raised with renewed confidence. Can’t thank Clemmie enough.”
