Just get your priorities straight. Establishing\u00a0 the what\/who\/where that is most important to the subject of the story is the way in here and the rest will flow from this. Gathering together as many photographs as you can and encouraging the person to talk about them can yield some great and sometimes, unexpected results. If the person can no longer be questioned, try putting yourself in their shoes and fitting together what you <em>do\u00a0<\/em>know. When cognitive impairment is involved, I may still be able to do this (for instance in the early diagnosis stage).
